Each one with the model answer underneath.

  1. 1

How is the Illinois Agility Test carried out?

    Model answer

The performer starts face down and sprints a 10 m by 5 m cone course, weaving through the centre cones. The score is the time taken in seconds.

  2. 2

How is the Stork Stand Test carried out?

    Model answer

The performer stands on one leg, hands on hips, with the other foot against the standing knee. The performer then rises onto the ball of the foot. The time until the heel drops or the hands leave the hips is recorded.

  3. 3

How is the Multi Stage Fitness Test carried out?

    Model answer

The performer runs 20 m shuttles between two lines, keeping time with bleeps that get steadily faster. The score is the level and shuttle reached when the performer can no longer keep up.

  4. 4

How is the Wall Toss Test carried out?

    Model answer

The performer stands 2 m from a wall and throws a tennis ball against it underarm with one hand. The ball is caught in the other hand, and the number of catches in 30 seconds is the score.

  5. 5

How is the Sit and Reach Test carried out?

    Model answer

The performer sits with legs straight and feet flat against a box, then reaches forward slowly along a ruler. The furthest point held is measured in centimetres.

  6. 6

How does the Sit-Up Bleep Test measure muscular endurance?

    Model answer

The performer does sit-ups in time with bleeps that set the pace. The score is the number of sit-ups completed before the performer can no longer keep up.
