Peace is the absence of conflict and the presence of harmony between people. Religious believers often describe peace as a gift from God.

Model answer
Justice is bringing about what is right and fair. Justice also involves putting right what has been done wrong.

Model answer
Forgiveness is choosing to pardon someone for the wrong they have done. Forgiveness does not always mean that the wrong is forgotten or excused.

Model answer
Micah 6:8 tells believers to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with God. Justice is placed alongside mercy rather than against it.
