What Edexcel GCSE Religious Studies B covers

Edexcel GCSE Religious Studies B (1RB0) is one of Pearson's two GCSE Religious Studies specifications, first taught from September 2016. It is built from three areas of study, one exam paper each: Religion and Ethics, Religion, Peace and Conflict, and Religion, Philosophy and Social Justice. A student takes two of the three, and studies each through one of seven religions: Catholic Christianity, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism or Sikhism. The two areas must use different religions, and Christianity and Catholic Christianity may not be combined. Every area has four sections for its religion. Beliefs and Living the Religious Life appear in all three areas with the same content, and the other two are the area's own: marriage and the family and matters of life and death; crime and punishment and peace and conflict; or philosophy of religion and equality. So each student sits eight sections in all, four for each religion. This bank carries all fifty-six, seven religions by eight sections, so whichever combination you were taught is here.
